If you’re new to daily deals site Groupon and sign up via our special Groupon* link, you can buy a £10 Primark voucher for just £5, effectively bagging a free fiver to spend at Primark.
It's for new members only, so unfortunately you can't take advantage if you've already signed up with Groupon. Go quick if you want one – it's first come, first served and the offer will end when 1,000 vouchers have been claimed.
It's one voucher per new account, and once you’ve paid, your Groupon account will be updated with a unique e-gift card with a barcode, which can be scanned at the till in any Primark across the UK (find your nearest). Groupon says it's best to print the barcode to avoid any scanning issues.

'Free' £5 M&S/Costa/Primark gift card
2,000 available for new Groupon customers spending £10+
ExpiredIf you join daily deals site Groupon* and spend £10 or more until 11.59pm on Sun 3 Mar, you'll get a free £5 e-gift card for either M&S, Costa Coffee, Primark or Sports Direct. There are 1,000 available and the deal will end early if all are claimed.
Groupon says a few deals are excluded - eg, when we looked, restaurant chains Bella Italia and Frankie & Benny's - but it wasn't able to provide a full list. So you may be unlucky with this and find the code won't work on what you wanted to buy.
How to do it
First, create a new account* and then enter the code EGIFT at the Groupon checkout when making your first £10+ purchase (remember to check the code has been accepted). THen after placing the order, you'll get an email asking you to choose one of the four e-gift cards.
You should then receive a second email by 11.59pm on Sun 10 Mar with the digital gift card attached for you to print or show on your smartphone at your chosen store.
Note: You'll need to opt-in to receive Groupon emails to get your £5 gift voucher.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
