If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Screwfix 'up to 60% off' Black Friday deals
Limited items, generally same price as other retailers
ExpiredYou may not think of Screwfix as a stereotypical Black Friday brand, however we've seen some pretty decent price-matching deals in the run-up to the big day. However, there were only 159 products in the sale when we checked on Friday 29 November, so we're hoping for more lines to be added.

Screwfix 'up to 60% off'?
Potential for further discounts via app
ExpiredYou may not think of Screwfix as a stereotypical Black Friday brand, however we've seen some pretty decent price-matching deals in the past few years. Also, last year's deals could be combined with offers and discounts via the Screwfix app, making some tech items cheaper than elsewhere.
Examples of items with decent discounts we found last year:
- Google Nest battery camera – £124. SAME PRICE at Amazon and Toolstation. Next cheapest, £129.99 at Google or Argos.
- Google Nest Learning Thermostat – £129. SAME PRICE at Toolstation. Next cheapest, £140 at Google.
- Amazon Echo Dot (5th Generation) – £21.99. SAME PRICE at Amazon, Argos, and John Lewis.
Important: Don't get caught up in the Black Friday hype, and keep our money mantras in mind – only ever buy what you need and can afford. You should always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’ve found the best deal available – don't simply take a retailer's word for it.
