If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Secret Escapes free £25 credit
Minimum £100 spend on hotels for newbies only
ExpiredIf you're not already a member, sign up to Secret Escapes via a special link on VoucherCodes* to get £25 free credit to spend towards a hotel stay. This is an ongoing offer for new customers only and requires a minimum spend of £100 before the credit can be applied.
Secret Escapes specialises in luxury hotels worldwide and it says it has 'members-only rates'. An example of a decent saving we found was a one-night stay for two at The Cavendish, London for £129 (£154 without the £25 discount). The next cheapest price we found for the same stay was £172 through Booking.com.
Don't assume you'll be getting the best price though, even with the £25 discount. Go on Trivago* and TravelSupermarket* to check you can't get your stay cheaper elsewhere. We've noticed you can be charged an up to £20 booking fee with Secret Escapes, so find out the absolute total before price comparing.
We're awaiting confirmation from Secret Escapes on whether the credit works on all hotels listed on the site, but from what we can see it does.
