What is Shop Scan Save?

It's a free app that gives money off certain products at stores with a PayPoint machine (which lets you pay bills with cash). Scan Shop Save is available for iPhones and Android.

How do I get it?

First you'll need to download the app. You'll then be able to see the latest offers and your closest participating store. Once registered, you'll get a barcode which will need to be scanned by a PayPoint machine before you buy an item to get the discount. You can show your local shopkeeper a video about how to redeem.

Once you've found an offer, you can redeem in any store with a PayPoint machine, including Spar, Costcutter and Londis branches, as well as newsagents.

  The app may take a while to download, so don't panic. If you are having problems or if a shop refuses to accept the voucher (it shouldn't happen, but you never know), contact Shop Scan Save and it'll have a word with the retailer on your behalf.
  
  The app will update with new offers every two weeks. As soon as you've redeemed an offer, it'll disappear from your offer list.
