Ted Baker 'up to 50% off' sale

Online, could boost further

Clothing retailer Ted Baker started its online sale on 13 December offering up to 50% off.

We checked it that day and there were over 680 items in the sale, across its entire range. Although Ted Baker says the sale is 'up to 50% off', we found some examples of discounts over 50%:

It's important to note that Ted Baker may not always be the cheapest place to buy all its items, even in a sale, so make sure you compare prices at other retailers. When we looked, we found John Lewis had price-matched a lot of the items in the Ted Baker sale, and the items that were cheapest at Ted Baker weren't sold elsewhere.

Delivery's £3.99, however the cut off for cheapest standard delivery in time for Christmas has passed. If you want to get your parcel in time for Christmas, you'll need to pay for Pre-Christmas Express Delivery, which costs £6.95. The deadline for this is 4pm on Wednesday 20 December.

If you're a member of Ted Baker, you get free delivery on orders over £20. In-store pick-up is free for all members and free to non-members if you spend over £20. It's free to sign up* to become a member, and once you've logged in, you'll be able to access members-only perks.

Is Ted Baker likely to boost the sale discount further?

Yes – based on previous years, we think it's likely to boost to 60% off after Christmas.

Boots up to 50% off selected beauty Advent calendars*

Including discounts on Soap & Glory, Ted Baker and more

For the past few years, Boots has offered deals on beauty Advent calendars, including as part of a 3for2 promo in 2019 and up to 50% off for the past three years. For 2023, it has already started offering deals on some calendars, but some of them are 20% off, discounted further from only 10% off, so could be discounted further later in the year.

Popular beauty Advent calendars available now included in up to 50% off deal:

It's possible that Boots could offer yet another discount, which may make some of these calendars cheaper towards the start of December, but it's not guaranteed so it's up to you whether you choose to purchase now or later on as some have already sold out, and it's not clear whether they will be back in stock before December.

MSE Rhiannon says:

It's possible that Boots could offer another discount, which may make some of these calendars cheaper towards the start of December, but it's not guaranteed, so it's up to you whether you choose to purchase now or later on.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
