If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

There are always ways to save money at Vax, so even if there isn’t a cracking deal out there that works for you, don’t assume you can’t cut your costs further.
Ways to save include:
- Offers for email subscribers. If you sign up to the Vax email newsletter you'll be the first to hear about new products and special offers.
- Look for sales. MSE usually offers exclusive early access to special Vax sales a couple of times a year – so sign up to our weekly email.
- Shop around. It's worth noting that Vax's products aren't always cheapest on its own website, so it's worth checking to see if you can find the item you want cheaper elsewhere.
- Check out similar companies. If you’re not committed to buying from Vax, you may find a better deal on cleaning products at companies such as Dyson or Karcher.
- Had a problem with Vax? There’s a free online tool you can use to complain – it helps draft, manage and if necessary escalate your complaint. It’s offered by a firm called Resolver, which we like so much we work with it to help people get complaints justice – you can use it to complain to Vax*.
If you spot any hot deals out there we have missed (we are human after all!), please let us know in the MSE Forum, email us at msedeals@moneysavingexpert.com or via Twitter @MSE_Deals.

Vax Black Friday deals
Selected items, eg, £170 Vax Blade 32V bundle
ExpiredSee our Black Friday guide for full analysis on the latest Black Friday deals. Check Deals & Vouchers for other offers on now or follow us on Twitter @MSE_Deals.
Vacuum cleaner brand Vax is having a low-key Black Friday sale, with varied discounts on a selection of just 13 items, some bundled with a 'free' £50 toolkit or £70 steam cleaner.
Some items can be found cheaper elsewhere, so it's worth doing your research as to whether the 'free' extras are worth paying more money for.
For example, we found the following at 3.37pm on Fri 29 Nov:
- Vax Blade 32V Cordless vacuum cleaner with ‘free’ toolkit - £169.96 (was £179.96). £44ish CHEAPER at Currys* without toolkit, which is £44.99 from John Lewis* (so Vax bundle works out £1ish cheaper if you need both).
- Vax Air Stretch Pet Max upright vacuum cleaner - £89.99 (was £99.99). £7 CHEAPER at Groupon*.
If you're looking for a cheaper deal on Vax cleaners, it might be better to check the Vax outlet store* on eBay.
Important: Don't allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don't need or can't afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don't just take a retailer's word for it.
