Virgin Atlantic deals

Airline Virgin Atlantic has launched its winter sale, which will last until 11.59pm on Wednesday 31 January.

It’s not advertising savings up to a particular amount (it had up to £90 off Economy and Premium flights for Black Friday as a reference, however), but we've spotted deals on long haul return fares. 

Here are some flight deal examples we spotted when we checked on Wednesday 20 December:

• London Heathrow to New York JFK – from £376 for a return journey
• London Heathrow to Shanghai – from £428 for a return journey
• Manchester to Barbados – from £490 for a return journey

As ever with travel deals, it's always best to be flexible with dates in order to get the cheapest price.

Airline Virgin Atlantic has launched its Black Friday sale, which will last until 11.59pm on Monday 27 November.

It’s advertising savings of up to £90 in Economy and Premium, valid for a range of travel dates depending on the flight (but we’ve seen deals on flights as late as October 2024).

Here are some flight deal examples we spotted when we checked on Friday 24 November:

• London Heathrow to New York – from £362.89 for a return journey
• London Heathrow to Shaghai – from £397.79 for a return journey
• Manchester to Barbados  – from £470.58 for a return journey

Last year (for comparison), Virgin Atlantic offered return flights from £226. We spotted return flights from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv for £225.77, Edinburgh to New York for £297.44 and Manchester to Orlando for £460.88.
