Sainsbury's to launch mobile phone network with Vodafone
A new mobile phone company will come onto the block later this summer, as Sainsbury's has announced plans to launch its own network.
The supermarket giant has teamed up with Vodafone to create "Mobile by Sainsbury's", which will launch later this summer (see our Cheap Mobiles guide for help cutting costs).
No details on products or pricing have yet been announced. All Sainsbury's will say is is that the network "will reward customer loyalty, offer great quality value-for-money mobile products together with attractive offers – and, of course, Nectar points".
Fellow supermarket giant Tesco launched its Tesco Mobile service with O2 in 2003.
