Coronavirus testing for fully vaccinated travellers arriving in the UK will be axed next month, it's been announced. In addition, those who aren't fully vaccinated will no longer be required to take a day eight test or self-isolate on arrival to the UK. The new rules will come in from 4am on Friday 11 February.

UK drivers collectively paid £156 million more than they should have for petrol in December, equating to roughly £5 million a day, according to motoring group the RAC, which has accused retailers of overcharging.

The Government has today released its approved list of private testing providers that will offer day two lateral flow tests for fully vaccinated travellers to England and Wales. Travellers will be able to save £20 using lateral flow tests compared to pricier PCRs.  

Vaccinated travellers entering England from abroad will be able to take a day two lateral flow test instead of a more expensive PCR test from Sunday 24 October, in a move by the UK Government to make going abroad cheaper and easier ahead of October half-term.
