Poll

The UK is set to leave the European Union on 29 March (see our Brexit help guide). So we wanted to test your sentiment about Brexit and its effect on your pocket, rather than the general economy.
Of course exactly how we'll leave (or possibly even if) is still a matter of much debate, so this is more a gut reaction to leaving – based on what we know – than an examination of the specifics.
So how do you FEEL your finances will be affected – which of these is closest to you view?

With the growing use of social networks, streaming services, gaming and more all done on mobiles, we wanted to see how much data you crunch in a month. How much data (via 3G or 4G signal not Wi-Fi) do you USE in a typical month? If unsure, check your data usage settings or your mobile bill.

When is it right or wrong to borrow? Are some things more acceptable than others – where is the line between flippant purchases and core needs – or is it more about long-term investment in your home or happiness? We've listed 20 options and want to know which you feel is appropriate to borrow for, or if it's appropriate to borrow at all. We've included some disguised lending such as paying for your mobile phone or car insurance monthly – in effect a loan. Please select YES or NO for each option under the relevant category.

The Christmas turkey has now gone cold – so it's a good time to evaluate. In the recent festive season, Martin's Ban unnecessary Christmas presents video went viral with more than 14 million views and 100,000s sharing it. So did you cut back this Christmas compared to past years, and how did you find it? Please select the option closest to your situation.

Now the festive season is over, Santa finally has the chance to rest – yet for parcel delivery firms (which helped), it's business as usual. Over the past few years, we've heard a variety of horror stories, ranging from no-shows to mis-delivered parcels and even items being left in the bin. So it's time for our sixth annual poll to sort the good guys from the bad… Please rate your experience with each of these firms DURING THE LAST YEAR (don't rate if you haven't experienced their services).

With the year drawing to a close, we wanted to find out if you're financially better off now than you were at the start of January 2018. Whether you saved money, paid off debt, overspent, borrowed or had a pay rise, tell us how your household finances fared over the past year. Please select ONE option under the relevant category.

It's Christmas, so for this week's poll, we're forgetting money and going for a bit of fun. We've selected some festive films and we want you to tell us which is your favourite. PS. We're aware one or two of the films below may not be considered entirely Christmassy, so feel free to let us know which you think shouldn't have made the list – or which films we've missed – in the forum discussion.

Sadly, the best deals rarely come to loyal customers. Moving company to a new, hot promotional deal is often (not always) the way to slash costs.
So for EVERY category please select whether this year you’ve:
- Switched: If you changed a provider/property/person in this category
- Stuck: If you’re with the same provider/property/person (even if a different offering)
- Don’t have: If you don’t have one of these…
(Please note there's currently a technical issue with the way the results for this poll display - we're working on fixing this ASAP).
