Money Moral Dilemma
Every week, the Money Tips email features a real-life Money Moral Dilemma (MMD for short). They're intended to encourage debate and, as such, they're usually among the most discussed threads each week.
Should I ask my friend to pay for charging his electric vehicle at our house?
My house has an electric vehicle (EV) charger, but I don't have an EV. A friend came to visit and asked if he could charge his EV as it hadn't charged properly overnight, and I was glad to help. When he left he didn't offer to pay for the electricity he'd used, and I was too embarrassed to ask. Our meter showed he'd used more than we normally do in a week, and he is a lot wealthier than us, so should I ask him to reimburse me?
See what our MSE Forumites had to say and add your own thoughts on the Money Moral Dilemma discussion thread. Do please stick to the MSE Forum rules: keep it kind and keep it clean. Remember, there's a real person behind every dilemma.

On our Gardening board there are lots of discussions about growing your own fruit and veg - KajiKita harvested these potatoes from their vegetable patch this week.

Please note: We love seeing your photos in the MSE Forum, but if you're uploading one, make sure it doesn't include any personally-identifiable information such as your face or address.

It's been a very good week for swatmough who is celebrating a whopping three wins, including a two-night break at an upmarket hotel on the banks of the Thames, a £25 cheque and three pairs of tights.
