A few of this week's top threads

These are some of the Forum discussions that caught our eye this week:

Money Moral Dilemma

Every week, the Money Tips email features a real-life Money Moral Dilemma (MMD for short). They're intended to encourage debate and, as such, they're usually among the most discussed threads each week.

Should I pay in full for a break with friends when I can only stay for half?

Six friends and I have hired a barge for a seven-day Easter break for many years, with the cost divided equally between us. Last year, I could only stay for three nights of the trip, so I suggested that I should pay a bit less. My friends disagreed, deciding that - as it was my decision to leave early - I'd have to pay my full share. I couldn't stay any longer than three nights this year, so I didn't join the trip as I object to paying the full cost. Am I right or wrong in thinking I shouldn't have to?

See what our MSE Forumites had to say and add your own thoughts on the Money Moral Dilemma discussion thread. Do please stick to the MSE Forum rules: keep it kind and keep it clean. Remember, there's a real person behind every dilemma.

Photo of the week

We spotted this from Soontobeoap who posted this pic of a pin cushion in a teacup they'd made at their craft group: "We had such a lot of fun making them. I gained a lot of bits and pieces of craft stuff from my sister's house when she passed away and have made this with silk and lace from her stash to gift to my other sister."

Latest comping wins

This week's notable winners include stacey2kids who was very glad of a £50 Iceland voucher and Molkomad who said it was a "nice surprise" to receive a £300 voucher for a holiday cottage stay.

Your two cents

Do you drive an electric car? Thegentleway's wife is about to get one, and they're wondering what sort of home EV charger would suit them best. If you've got some experience that could help them choose, then please get posting!
