If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Update Monday 2 December: You can get an extra 20% off when spending £50 or more on selected items until 11.59pm on Cyber Monday (2 December). There's no code needed, this will apply automatically.
If you go online to sportswear brand Adidas, you can get 'up to 60% off' selected items for its Black Friday. As we predicted, it's boosted from 'up to 50% off', and has now opened up to all, not just for Adidas loyalty scheme ‘adiClub’ members.
What does ‘up to 60% off almost everything' mean?
Min discount: 15%
Max discount: 60%
Typical discount we found on ten random items: 36%
What is the discount based on: The Advertising Standards Agency has previously stated that at least 10% of items should be available at the 'up to' price. There's no code needed – the discount will be clearly marked on the item and automatically applied at the checkout.
Delivery's free for 'adiClub' members – see what else a membership gets you. If you’re not a member, delivery’s £3.99 or free if you're spending over £40.
Here are some strong examples we spotted at 6.30am on Friday 29 November:
- Doodle Graphic T-shirt – £12.50 (was £25). Not found elsewhere
- Breaknet Lifestyle Court elastic lace and top strap shoe – £17.50 (was £35). Next cheapest, £19.50 at Very
- Tiro Essential tracksuit bottoms – £19 (were £38). Not found elsewhere
- Swift Run 22 Shoes – £37.50 (were £75). Next cheapest, £44 at Sports Direct
Important: Don't get caught up in the Black Friday hype, and keep our money mantras in mind – only ever buy what you need and can afford. You should always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’ve found the best deal available – don't simply take a retailer's word for it.

Adidas Black Friday up to 50% off selected items?
Last year, discounts on men's, women's and kids' items
ExpiredFor Black Friday, we predict Adidas will repeat the offer it has run over the past few years – up to 50% off selected men’s, women’s and kids' clothes, shoes and accessories throughout the week before Black Friday (18-24 November).
This 50% off is usually followed by a boost of a deeper discount (last year it went up to 60% off), or an additional 20% off code on Black Friday weekend, so it could be worth waiting for this to see if it happens again. We reckon the sale will start on the second week in November, around Monday 11 November.
Over the past few years, those who are signed up to Adidas' loyalty scheme ‘adiClub’ (sign up for free*) usually receive an additional benefit such as early access to the sale, so it could also be worth doing this if you've got your eye on something.
Examples of discounts offered during Black Friday last year include:
- Kids' graphic t-shirt – £5.20 (was £13). Not found elsewhere
- Men's black joggers – £19 (was £38). Not found elsewhere
- Women's Ozweego shoes – £58.90 (were £95). CHEAPER ELSEWHERE £54 at Asos (colours differ)
Bear in mind that any items on sale may still be cheaper elsewhere, as in the third example above. Always check other retailers to make sure you get the best price.
Important: Don't get caught up in the Black Friday hype, and keep our money mantras in mind – only ever buy what you need and can afford. You should always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’ve found the best deal available – don't simply take a retailer's word for it.
