If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Adidas 'up to 60% off' Black Friday sale
Across 1,000s of women's, men's and kids' clothing, shoes & accessories
ExpiredUpdate Friday 24 November: This sale was 'up to 50% off', but has since boosted to 'up to 60% off'. Though when we checked, majority of items we spot checked were discounted by 20%.
If you go online to sportswear brand Adidas, you can get 'up to 60% off' selected items for its Black Friday sale. We usually see this sale boost and the discount increase over Black Friday weekend (from Friday 24 November onwards), so it might be worth waiting to see if it does that this year to get a better price.
What does ‘up to 60% off almost everything' mean?
Min discount: 10%
Max discount: 60%
Typical discount we found on ten random items: 20%
What is the discount based on: The Advertising Standards Agency has previously stated that at least 10% of items should be available at the 'up to' price. If you’re a member of the Adidas loyalty scheme ‘adiClub’ (sign up for free*), you could get early access to the sale but it's now open to all. There's no code needed – the discount will be clearly marked on the item and automatically applied at the checkout.
Delivery's free for 'adiClub' members – see what else a membership gets you. If you’re not a member, delivery’s £3.99 or free if you're spending over £25.
When we checked on Friday 24 November, there were over 9,000+ items included across men's, women's and kids', including clothes, shoes, and accessories.
Here are some strong examples, both good and bad, we spotted at 6.34am on Friday 24 November:
- Kids' graphic t-shirt* – Update Fri 24 Nov, this item has reduced further to £5.20, was £6.50 Pre Black Friday price (was £13). Not found elsewhere
- Men's black joggers* – £19 (was £38). Not found elsewhere
- Women's Ozweego shoes* – £58.90 (were £95). CHEAPER ELSEWHERE £54 at Asos (colours differ)
Important: Don't allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don't need or can't afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don't just take a retailer's word for it.

Adidas Black Friday up to 50% off selected items?
Last year, discounts on men's, women's and kids' items
ExpiredFor Black Friday, we predict Adidas will repeat the offer it has run over the past few years – up to 50% off selected men’s, women’s and kids' clothes, shoes and accessories for the week of Black Friday (20-26 November).
This 50% off is sometimes followed by a boost of a deeper discount, or an additional 20% off code on Cyber Monday, so it could be worth waiting for this to see if it happens again.
Over the past few years, those who are signed up to Adidas' loyalty scheme ‘adiClub’ (sign up for free*) usually receive an additional benefit such as early access to the sale, so it could also be worth doing this if you've got your eye on something.
Examples of discounts offered during Black Friday last year include:
- Kids' graphic T-shirt – £6.50 (was £13). Next cheapest similar we found was £10 at JD Sports
- Men's print tracksuit – £45.50 (was £70). Next cheapest was £69.99 at Sports Direct
- Women's Ozweego shoes – £59.85 (were £95). CHEAPER ELSEWHERE for £55 at Office
Bear in mind that any items on sale may still be cheaper elsewhere, as in the third example above. Always check other retailers to make sure you get the best price.
Important: Don't get caught up in the Black Friday hype, and keep our money mantras in mind – only ever buy what you need and can afford. You should always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’ve found the best deal available – don't simply take a retailer's word for it.
