British Airways deals

Airline British Airways is offering various flight and package holiday deals until 11.59pm on Tuesday 30 January.

While the sale isn't flagged as a certain percentage off, longer haul flights look to have the strongest discounts, and you can also get city breaks from £149 per person.

Here are some examples of long haul flights we spotted when we checked on Wednesday 20 December:

• London Heathrow to New York JFK – £354 return
• London Heathrow to Los Angeles International – £413 return
• London Heathrow to Nassau, Bahamas – £587 return

Here are some examples of city break holidays we spotted when we checked on Wednesday 20 December:

• London Heathrow to Lisbon, two-night break in a standard room with flights – £149 per person
• London Heathrow to Prague, two-night break in a standard room with flights – £149 per person 
• London Heathrow to Budapest, two-night break in a standard room with flights – £149 per person 

As ever with travel deals, it's always best to be flexible with dates in order to get the cheapest price.

Airline British Airways is offering various Black Friday flight deals until 11.59pm on Monday 27 November.

It's advertising flights to Europe 'from £39 each way', but we also saw some deals that were slightly cheaper when we looked on Thursday 23 November. We've asked which travel dates these are valid for and we'll update here once we know.

It's also offering a £1-per-leg deal on checked luggage if you fly from London Gatwick to Europe midweek. Additionally, there's an offer on its city break holidays which gets you three nights for the price of two.

Here are some examples we spotted when we checked on Thursday 23 November:

• London Heathrow to Barcelona – from £65.99 for a return journey
• London Heathrow to Paris – from £80.09 for a return journey
• London Heathrow to Athens – from £98.69 for a return journey

Last year, British Airways offered return flights to the USA for £299, including New York and Boston. Sadly, we haven't seen any equivalent deals this year.
