Update Friday 17 May: Naturally, I put my skills to the test as deals researcher and went to try this freebie (it's a hard job but someone has to do it!) and my local branch had limited flavours for free and was only serving them between 12pm-6pm. This is despite Creams Café telling us you can get any flavour throughout the whole day. While this may only be my local branch, I'd advise you go between the specified hours just in case and be prepared that your choice of flavours may be limited.

Pop in to any Creams Café dessert parlour on Friday 17 May and you can get one scoop of gelato or sorbet for FREE (normally £2.50). There are 90+ Creams Café locations in England (find your nearest), and it's giving out the free scoops all day.
There's no voucher or code needed, you can just turn up and claim your free scoop in a tub – though bear in mind if this is popular you may have to queue. This is a total freebie, so you can just get the one scoop if you don't want anything else. Creams Café says it's doing this to celebrate its 'sweet 16 birthday'.
It's one free scoop per person and you can choose from any of its 20+ flavours of sorbet and gelato, depending on stock. Flavours include banoffee, coconut, bubblegum, Oreo and more.
You can only claim this freebie in-store – it's not available to order online for takeaway or delivery.
