Unique discount code for your birthday

If you sign up to the Disney Store newsletter (at the bottom of its homepage) you can get a unique code for 15% off valid for the month of your birthday. Either enter the code at the online checkout or show it to a staff member at a Disney Store.

You have to be over 18 to sign up, but you could buy something for your kids and keep it until their birthday. See full T&Cs. There are a list of excluded products and services, eg, limited edition items, at the Disney Store website.

Disney Store 25% off selected full-price items*

Online only

Update Monday 1 December: Disney Store* is now offering 25% off selected items using the code: CYBER until 6.30am on Friday 5 December. This is a slightly worse offer than it's Black Friday deal of 30% off.

If you're an email subscriber to Disney Store*, you can get early access to its 30% off Black Friday sale when you shop online – it's free to sign up*. The sale will open to all on Wednesday 26 November, lasting until 6.30am on Monday 1 December. As the sale ends early morning, we predict it could add an extra discount, so it might be worth checking back then.

There's no code needed – the discount will be clearly marked on items.

Disney Store ran a 'Toy Tuesday' offer a few weeks ago where you could get 25% off selected toys, so this is a stronger offer at 30% off, and currently includes more items (over 1,000) so this could be a good time to buy.

Standard delivery's £6.50 on a spend under £20, £4.50 on a spend of £20 to £49.99, or free if spending £50 or more.

Here are some examples of discounts Disney told us about:

Important: Don't allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don't need or can't afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible - don't just take a retailer's word for it.

Disney Store 'Toy Tuesday' FLASH 25% off code*

On 100s of toys, costumes & stationery. Plus extra 10% off code

Update Wednesday 5 November: As we predicted, Disney has added an extra 10% off code: EXTRA10 which you can stack alongside the 25% off code.

It's an annual offer that many MoneySavers wait for in the run-up to Christmas... Go online to the Disney Store* and you can get 25% off selected Disney toys, figures, dolls, costumes, stationery and more when you enter the code TOYTUESDAY at the checkout by 11.59pm on Wednesday 5 November

The code is valid on all items listed at this Disney Store Toy Tuesday page*, and includes popular franchises such as Toy Story, Frozen, and Lilo & Stitch, as well as Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel. Standard delivery's £6.50 on a spend under £20, £4.50 on a spend of £20 to £49.99, or free if spending £50 or more.

When we checked on Tuesday, the 25% off code could be used on 500+ items, including these examples:

Disney Store may not be cheapest for everything, so always compare prices elsewhere before buying. A lot of items sold at Disney Store are exclusive, so you may not find the exact item elsewhere, but other retailers may sell similar Disney products.

Will there be a deeper discount for Black Friday? Last year, Disney Store offered 30% off 1,000+ full-price items in the third week of November, and while it hasn't confirmed this year's deal, we predict it'll do something similar again. This means some items in the 'Toy Tuesday' offer may end up having a stronger discount later in the month, but of course there's a risk what you want won't be included in the Black Friday sale, so you'll need to weigh up if it's worth holding out.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
