If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Including £350 Nintendo Switch OLED with Mario Kart 8, but same price elsewhere

Console and games retailer Game has previously been a big player on Black Friday, however, last year’s sale wasn't as good as in 2018 when we saw decent deals released early. Discounts in 2019 included PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch bundles, as well as games, but last year ALL of the products we saw were the same price or cheaper elsewhere – hammering home that it's important to compare prices before buying.
This year, with brand new games consoles out including PS5 and Xbox Series X and S, we're hoping to see Game step back up after last year's KO.
Examples of discounts we spotted in 2019:
- PS4 500GB console with Call of Duty Modern Warfare and a two-month Now TV Entertainment pass - £199. Console and game were the same price at AO.com
