For your birthday if you're a Nike member

If you sign up as a Nike member online* or via the Nike app*, you can get 25% off online for your birthday – though note that not everyone will get this offer. This is for selected members and is automatically added to your Nike Members account.

Nike says to be eligible, you'll need to sign up at least 10 days before your birthday month, receive marketing emails, and 'interact online or shop with Nike for a period of time before your birthday month'. The discount is valid for 30 days from the date you receive the communication.

The discount is not valid alongside other offers, sale items, on Apple products, Nike By You, Jersey By You styles or on gift cards. See T&Cs* for more details and exclusions.

Nike 'up to 50% off' sale*

  • Min discount we saw: 12%

  • Max discount we saw: 50%, for example these Jordan women's slides* for £14.99, were £29.99

  • Typical discount based on 10 random items: 28%

Nike 25% off when you spend £50*

Online via code for Nike members (free to join)

If you go online to sportswear brand Nike*, you can get 25% off most items when you spend £50 or more for its Black Friday sale until 8am on Tuesday 3 December. To get the discount, you'll need to sign up for a free Nike Membership* and enter the code GOBIG24 at the checkout.

The sale started on Tuesday 19 November, but was only valid on full-price items. It's now expanded its offering to include most items, including already-reduced, but there are some exclusions, such as gift cards, Apple products, Nike By You and Jersey By You products.

Nike membership also gives you free standard delivery.

When we checked on Friday 29 November, the sale included over 5,400 items from the men's, women's and kids' sections.

Here are some examples we found:

Important: Don't allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don't need or can't afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don't just take a retailers word for it.

See our Black Friday 2024 page for more discounts.

MSE Georgia-May says:

If you're looking for some new clothes or workout gear, Black Friday may be a good time to have a look. However, even with the code, Nike may not always be the cheapest place to buy, so remember to compare prices at other retailers before buying.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
