If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

Discounts across men's, women's and kids'
ExpiredSportswear brand Nike* began its 'up to 50% off' sale online on Thursday 21 December.
We haven't seen Nike increase the sale discount in previous years, so we wouldn't expect it to this year, though it's worth keeping an eye out for short-lived discount codes that can be applied to sale items too.Delivery's free if you're signed up to a free Nike Membership*, otherwise it's £4.50 for orders under £99.
When we checked on Wednesday 27 December, the sale included over 3,000 items from the men's, women's and kids' sections. Here are some examples:
- Kids' Jumpman Two Trey shoes* – £27.49 (was £54.95). Next cheapest, £55 at JD Sports
- Men's React Vision shoes* – £59.99 (were £119.95). Next cheapest, £90 at JD Sports
- Sportswear club fleece* – £27.49 (was £54.95). Next cheapest, £49 at Sports Direct
What does ‘up to 50% off' mean?
Min discount we spotted: 10%
Max discount we spotted: 50%
Average discount based on 10 random items: 34%What is the discount based on: The Advertising Standards Agency has previously stated that at least 10% of items should be available at the 'up to' price.
As is the nature of sales, stock is likely to be limited, so go quick if there's something you're after. Don't assume Nike is always cheapest and ensure you do your own price comparisons before making a purchase.
