£1 PureGym one-day pass

Via Priority app on Thursdays only

If you're on O2 or a Virgin Media broadband customer, you can get a day pass for £1 at PureGym (find your nearest) on Thursdays via the Priority app.

This deal runs each week until Thursday 21 December and there are 5,000 £1 passes released each Thursday from 00.01am until 11.45pm that night. You can use the £1 pass any time from gym opening until 11.59pm on that particular Thursday it's valid for.

PureGym membership differs in price depending on location, with some normally costing £14.99 while others we saw were up to £25.99. We reckon £1 for a day pass is a good deal as there is no time limit on how long you spend there during that day.

You can also use the day pass to participate in PureGym classes too, such as Pump, Cycle, HIIT and more.

How to get it

Both Virgin Media broadband customers and O2 customers can use the Priority app to access perks and rewards. If you haven't got the app already, you can download it for iPhone or Android, and sign up for free.

If you're a Virgin Media broadband customer, you can register using the email address linked to your Virgin Media account, while O2 customers can register using their mobile number. Once you've logged into your account, you can access the Priority offers. Search for the £1 day pass PureGym offer, then once you've found it tap 'use now’ and you will be directed to the PureGym website. The app will provide you with a voucher code in order to redeem this deal.

Select the club you would like to visit, followed by selecting ‘Day Passes’, then ‘1 Day Pass’. Tap 'add promo code' and enter your code. You'll then need to pay £1 and you will be sent an email with your entry access PIN or QR code to gain entry to your selected gym. Any code unused by 11.59pm will become invalid, so if you claim a code but don't use it you'll need to get a new code for the following week.

The offer can't be used at: Bristol Union Gate, London Beckton, London Canary Wharf, London Clapham, London Bow Wharf, Dunfermline, London Finsbury Park, London Fulham, London Holloway Road, London South Kensington and Tonbridge.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
