Secret Sales extra 20% off everything*

Including Converse, Asos, Nike and more. 4,000 codes available

You can get an extra 20% off everything at online outlet Secret Sales* when you enter the MSE Blagged code SAVE20 at the checkout until 11.59pm on Friday 31 January, or when 4,000 codes have been redeemed, whichever's first. Delivery's £2.99, or free on orders of £50 or more. If you choose to return a purchase, there's a charge of £3.50.

What is Secret Sales?

It sells surplus, end-of-line and outlet stock from well-known brands at a reduced price, and claims to offer discounts of up to 80% off – think of it as an online version of an outlet village. With our code, you get an extra 20% off these already-reduced items. A few high-street and designer brands we’ve spotted include Prada, Barbour, Gucci, Nike, Superdry and The North Face.

The code works on everything, and we saw these strong discounts when we checked on Tuesday 28 January:

Secret Sales delivers to mainland United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland), but not to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

As it's an outlet, stock and sizes may be limited. For more discounted fashion, check our Outlets round-up.

MSE Olivia says:

While there are bargains to be had at outlet sites, you should always check prices elsewhere when shopping for branded items to make sure it really is the cheapest place to buy. From my research, Secret Sales can be good for bagging a discount on out-of-season designer clothing that you may not be able to find elsewhere.

I also noticed it stocks items that don’t change seasonally (such as the Converse above, for example), and with our code you can get these for a decent price.

Secret Sales 'up to 85% off everything'*

Deep discounts on big brands but many items the same price or cheaper elsewhere

If you go to online outlet Secret Sales*, you can get 'up to 85% off' in its Black Friday sale. Delivery's £2.99, or free on orders of £50 or more.

Despite some deep discounts, we found that Secret Sales was frequently either price-matched or beaten by other retailers, so make sure you do your own price comparisons before you buy.

What does ‘up to 85% off everything' mean?

  • Min discount we saw: 3%

  • Max discount we saw: 96%

  • Typical discount based on 10 random items: 43%

What is the discount based on: The Advertising Standards Agency has previously stated that at least 10% of items should be available at the 'up to' price.

Here's what we saw on Thursday 28 November:

Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’re getting the best deal – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
