If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

The Range 'up to 50% off' 20,000+ items
Not huge discounts, some items cheaper elsewhere
ExpiredIf you go online to the The Range, you can get up 'up to 50% off' on selected items for its Black Friday sale which launched on Thursday 7 November. When we checked, there were over 28,000 items included in the sale, and the discounts will likely last throughout the entire month, while stocks last.
The discounts are spread across different departments including furniture, toys, cooking and dining, and Christmas.
What discounts have we seen?
- Min discount we saw: 10%
- Max discount we saw: 70%
- Typical discount from ten random items: 26%
Here are a few deals and duds we spotted on Friday 29 November:
- Morphy Richards Hive Jug Kettle (1.5L) – £24 (was £34.99). CHEAPER ELSEWHERE for £22 at Amazon
- Wooden doll house – £29.99 (was £59.99). Not found elsewhere
- Living and Home 8L non-stick digital air fryer – £38.79 (was £45.63). Next cheapest, £41.99 at Debenhams
Delivery's from £4.99, or free if you're spending over £59.
Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype around Black Friday and be sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you are getting the best deal possible – don’t just take a retailer’s word for it.

The Range kids eat 'free'
When an adult buys a main meal from its in store cafés
ExpiredIf you're visiting The Range (find your nearest) and fancy a bite to eat, head to its in-store café, Dee Dee's, and kids aged under 16 can eat for 'free' when an adult buys a main meal until café closing time on Friday 6 September.
No code is required, the promotion is automatically applied to the bill. This offer is available in most Dee Dee's Cafés across the UK every day of the week, from opening until cafés close.
The 'free' kids' meal includes dishes such as pick 'n' mix sandwich selection, fish & chips, or vegan chicken goujons & chips for example, and this would usually cost around £4. All kids' meals include a drink and a piece of fruit too.
One child can eat for free with every adult meal purchased.
