Money Moral Dilemma
Every week, the Money Tips email features a real-life Money Moral Dilemma (MMD for short). They're intended to encourage debate and, as such, they're usually among the most discussed threads each week.
Should I go back to the supermarket that didn't charge me and offer to pay?
I did my big shop at a major supermarket and paid with a credit card as normal. Yet when my card statement arrived, I hadn't been charged. Do I go back and offer to pay, so the supermarket doesn't lose out? I'd feel a bit silly as it's been weeks and I don't have a receipt, so I don't know exactly what I bought or how much it cost. Given such a big firm's unlikely to be affected by a one-off loss, I could say nothing and carry on shopping there, but would that make me no better than a thief?
See what our MSE Forumites had to say and add your own thoughts on the Money Moral Dilemma discussion thread. Do please stick to the MSE Forum rules: keep it kind and keep it clean. Remember, there's a real person behind every dilemma.

Photo of the week
We love to see the amazing things our Crafting community create week by week, and one of this week's highlights on the no spending on craft materials thread was Soontobeoap's set of bags they'd made for their community club open day, using donated cotton yarn and lined with material from their stash.
Please note: We love seeing your photos in the MSE Forum, but if you're uploading one, make sure it doesn't include any personally-identifiable information such as your face or address.
