There are always ways to save money at Café Rouge, so even if there isn’t a cracking deal out there that works for you, don’t assume you can’t cut your costs further.

Ways to save include:

  • Exclusive offers for email subscribers. If you sign up to the Café Rouge email newsletter (scroll down to the bottom of the page), you'll receive details of regular promotions direct to your inbox, eg, 25%-30% off discounts.

  • Tesco Clubcard. You can exchange £2.50 worth of Clubcard vouchers for a £10 Café Rouge token to spend on food (excludes drinks).

  • Check out similar restaurant chains. If you’re not committed to eating at Café Rouge, see our Pizza ExpressZizziBella Italia or Ask Italian pages, where you may find a better active deal.

  • Want more? Read our restaurant deals page for more dine-in and takeaway offers.

  • Had a problem with Café Rouge? There’s a free online tool you can use to complain – it helps draft, manage and if necessary escalate your complaint. It’s offered by a firm called Resolver, which we like so much we work with it to help people get complaints justice – you can use it to complain to Café Rouge*.

Café Rouge 50% off mains

Via code. Valid every day for up to six people

If you dine in at a Café Rouge restaurant (find your nearest) you can get 50% off main meals from the A La Carte menu. Simply enter your email address online to get your code and order at least two main meals by Sunday 28 April to get the discount.

The offer runs from midday until restaurant closing time, daily. Don’t forget to tell the serving staff you have a voucher and show the code when you order.

A main meal would usually cost £13.95-£22.50. This applies to dine-in mains only (excluding the breakfast menu) – it's not valid on takeaway or delivery orders. You can get this deal at all Café Rouge locations except Center Parcs restaurants or Café Rouge Cardiff on event days.

The 50% off code can be used for a maximum of six people on one table. This deal can't be used alongside any other offer or promotion including Tastecard, Gourmet Card or Tesco Clubcard vouchers.

Café Rouge 'free' glass of Prosecco for mums

When you pre-book a table and buy at least one main meal

If you take your mum out to a Café Rouge restaurant (find your nearest) on Mother's Day, she can get a free glass of Prosecco when you buy a main meal and pre-book a table.

This offer is available all day from restaurant opening time until closing on Sunday 10 March only. The main meal can be purchased from the breakfast menu (excludes pastries) which cost £6.50-£10.95 or the a la carte main menu, which cost £13.95-£18.35.

Café Rouge told us a glass of Ca Belli Prosecco would usually cost £6.85. Alternative free soft drinks are available if mum would prefer a non-alcoholic option.

To pre-book your table, you can either choose ‘Mother’s Day’ booking option online, or just book for Sunday 10 March and add ‘Mothers Day offer’ to 'booking notes' section.

There's no limit to the number of mums per table that can claim a free glass of Prosecco, but a main meal must be purchased per free drink. This offer isn't available with the Afternoon Tea menu and cannot be used alongside any other discount, promotion, set menu, Tastecard, or Tesco Clubcard vouchers.

You can only get this deal when eating in, and it's not valid at Center Parcs.

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
What the * means above
If a link has an * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site. It's worth noting this means the third party used may be named on any credit agreements.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
