A few of this week's top threads

We're always scouring for useful, interesting or cheering threads. A few that caught our eye this week:

Photos of the week

Two photos caught our eye this week. Please note: we love seeing your photos in the Forum, but if you're uploading one, make sure it doesn't include any personally identifiable information such as your face or address.

Forumite Cheery_Daff posted this picture of her hen Bessie with the comment, "If you've never seen a chicken having an ultrasound on a dining room table, well, I am happy to be able to fill that gap in your experience 😂😂". For more wholesome poultry content, see the Keeping hens and ducks chat.

With spring beginning to show its face, the Greenfingered MoneySaving board is coming into its own. Forumite GreenCat80 uploaded this photo, explaining, "I made a planter out of a couple of heat treated pallets and put a few different varieties of strawberry plants in there so hopefully we’ll have fruit all summer. I’m hoping it’s successful and then I’ll use the runners to fill another planter next spring 🤞🏻."

  • Amazing April's NSD Challenge

Join this supportive group of community members and reach your target number of No Spend Days this month.

Money Moral Dilemma

Every week, the Money Tips email features a real-life Money Moral Dilemma (MMD for short). They're intended to encourage debate and, as such, they're usually among the most discussed threads each week.

Should I keep the voucher I got for my holiday booking?

I booked a family holiday through a major travel firm and got a £30 voucher for an online retailer by using a discount codes website. Should I keep this for myself as I made the booking, or use it to buy something we'll all need for the holiday, such as sun cream?

You can find out what our Forumites think and add your own two cents on the Money Moral Dilemma discussion thread. Remember the MSE Forum rules: keep it kind and keep it clean. Remember, there's a real person behind every Money Moral Dilemma.

Got a Money Moral Dilemma of your own? Email us at MMD@moneysavingexpert.com and it could be featured.

Latest comping wins

One of the most frequented boards, Competitions Time, is where compers come to find and share competitions. There are countless success stories, but here's the most recent one. The prize below (a Nutriburst immunity bundle) was won by Forumite redfox5.

Your two cents

Martin Lewis is putting together a new 'cost of living survival guide' to help counter these costly times. It'll feature all the usual stuff like bills cutting and grants, but Martin's keen to make it as comprehensive as possible. So tell us: what would you like to see included in it? Add your suggestions to the What should we include in MSE's new Cost of Living survival guide? MSE Forum discussion.
