Cocktails, carpets & cold lunch meat – this week's MSE Forum highlights
It's thanks to a benevolent horde of tapping and swiping fingertips that the MSE Forum is the behemoth it is. MoneySaving community members get involved daily to provide support, posit ideas, share experiences and pose questions. Here are a few of this week's best bits.

A few of this week's top threads
We're always scouring for useful, interesting or cheering threads. A few that caught our eye this week:
Bake 'em, grate 'em or donate 'em – how do you use up leftover Easter eggs?
I’m off to Disneyland Paris and have questions about keeping it MoneySaving – can you help?
Garnishing a cocktail with leftover chocolate eggs
Is it time for restaurants to stop adding a tip to the bill?
Go to bed earlier, like me – I save around 30 hours of electric and gas a month this way
Is garlic spray a good home remedy for ridding plants of pests?
Sunday lunch meat – should it be hot or cold? Help me settle a disagreement with my in-laws
Success of the week
The community is never short of success stories – everything from getting back into the black after years of debt to scoring a charity shop bargain – but this week brought us a perfect example of the form. First-time buyer TXC updated the House Buying, Renting & Selling board with this post:
No advice needed (this time), I was fortunate enough to complete on a great house this aft so am now officially a homeowner!!
I just wanted to take the chance to say thank you to everyone on this board for the various advices and support you've given me through this FTB journey!
Since I joined you guys have seen me through countless viewings as well as two fallen sales and you've been a huge sounding board for me throughout the process.
I will doubtless be asking many many more questions on this board but for now I just wanted to share some appreciation :) you've been invaluable!
~ TXC
Congratulations on your new home, TXC.
Photos of the week
Over on the Greenfingered MoneySaving board, MSE Forumite Rdwill asked for help identifying a plant that had sprung up in their garden. The community agreed it's Arum (also know as 'Lords-and-ladies'), which is attractive but not always welcome, since it's known to spread fast.
Please note: We love seeing your photos in the MSE Forum, but if you're uploading one, make sure it doesn't include any personally identifiable information such as your face or address.
Money Moral Dilemma
Every week, the Money Tips email features a real-life Money Moral Dilemma (MMD for short). They're intended to encourage debate and, as such, they're usually among the most discussed threads each week.
Should I leave different amounts to my grandchildren in my will?
I'm making a will, and I am considering leaving one pair of my grandchildren more than the other pair because their parents have different levels of wealth. But my head tells me one thing and my heart another - what should I do?
You can find out what our MSE Forumites think and add your own two cents on the Money Moral Dilemma discussion thread. Remember the MSE Forum rules: keep it kind and keep it clean. Remember, there's a real person behind every Money Moral Dilemma.

Latest comping wins
One of the most frequented boards, Competitions Time, is where compers come to find and share competitions. There are countless success stories, but here are the most recent. The prizes below were won by MSE Forumite stacey2kids: 20 tickets to their local fair ground (saving the family over £110) and various treats from Vodafone, including a £50 Amazon gift voucher.
